Ryan and his wife, Stephanie, are planting Radiant Church in St. Albans with a deep love for the people of the Kanawha Valley and a desire to see healthy churches planted across the region. A native of St. Albans, Ryan has served in pastoral ministry for over a decade in the valley. He studied theology, teaching, and church history through Moody Bible Institute and Reformed Theological Seminary. Ryan previously served as a chaplain for professional baseball and is also a small business owner. He is dually endorsed by Acts 29 and SEND Network as he leads the planting of Radiant Church. Ryan and Stephanie are passionate about gospel-centered ministry, discipleship, prayer, and helping people encounter the hope of Jesus in everyday life.

Corey and his wife, Rachel, have four children: Serena, Thea, Jett, and Lettie. A WVU graduate and attorney in Charleston, Corey previously served as a pastor at New Heights Church, Radiant’s sending church. He joined Ryan to help plant Radiant and reach the people of St. Albans. His heart for that work is simple: “God will accomplish his work with or without us, but what a blessing we receive when we are a part of it.” Outside of church and work, Corey enjoys reading and playing basketball.

Caleb grew up in central Appalachia, where shape-note hymns and bluegrass-flavored Southern Gospel sparked his love of music. He holds a degree in music education from West Virginia State University and has spent the past decade teaching music in public schools and leading church music. At Radiant, he works to facilitate rich congregational singing, build a repertoire of songs that proclaim the truth of the gospel, and connect with like-minded churches and ministries. Caleb and his wife have three children.

Josh Tucker serves as Radiant Church’s Director of Sunday Operations & Security. A West Virginia native and Cedarville University graduate, Josh served as an Army explosive ordnance disposal officer and later as an FBI special agent. He now runs a business providing security services in his community. His love for God’s people shapes the way he protects and serves them. Josh, his wife, and their children are grateful to be part of Radiant Church.

C. J. oversees audio and lighting at Radiant, drawing on more than a decade of production experience. A Liberty University alum, he loves using technology to help people engage in worship and hear the message clearly. He and his wife, Eva, have a lively family: three children, four bonus children, and six grandchildren. Outside of church, C. J. enjoys golf, sports, coffee, and time with his family.

Lauren is our go-to creative brain and marketing mind. She may not be here in person at Radiant (despite shameless efforts to bring her here!), but her presence is very much felt & seen indirectly. A Liberty University alum with almost 20yrs of Graphic Design experience, plus 10+ years of Marketing and 5+ years of the Interior Design field are evident through almost every digital and print material you see at Radiant today. Growing up in West Virginia (specifically the Hurricane area), as the daughter of Pastor Mark Pyles, and a long-time school-mate & friend of Pastor Ryan (not to mention having family at our sending church, New Heights), Lauren is very well informed, familiar, and passionate about seeing the gospel mission carried out in our area.
